For the first time in nearly 20 years I have blinds in the kitchen.
How has it taken that long you may well ask?
The usual excuses would be lack of time/money/energy etc, but the reality is that I've just never got round to it. Odd for someone who values her privacy. But when you've lived with something one way for a certain length of time you eventually stop noticing it. Whilst that can come in handy on occasions I don't think it's necessarily a good thing.
Two simple white blinds have made such a difference. My kitchen feels like mine again.
What small thing have you stopped noticing? And can you do something about it? It may make your life better...
First sprinkling of snow yesterday morning.
