Or all of the above!
Preferably nothing too emotionally demanding or mentally challenging. This is for relaxing evening reading.
I'm glad to have grown up in a world of books. We always had a bedtime story and I read a lot on my own as soon as I could. I still remember the feeling of euphoria when I read a Ladybird copy* of 'The Elves and the Shoemaker' all the way through by myself without getting stuck!
Do children still get given book tokens?
Obama talks here about how books helped him survive his White House years...
