...determines how you'll feel tomorrow!
I reminded myself of this the hard way when I didn't eat or drink enough at my Saturday market, and wow, I felt it on Sunday!
So yesterday I rehydrated, ate well and did a bit of restorative drawing. Just for my own pleasure. I've been drawing circular patterns since I was little - I find them very relaxing. I never know how they'll turn out, I don't think about the shapes or the colours, I just do what feels right. It's a sort of flow that requires getting out of my own way.
Daylight was fading as you can tell from the last photo, so it's nearly finished but not quite. The key is knowing when to stop! I'll leave some white space in it too. The colours took me by surprise - not my usual choices, but I think Autumn snuck in there when I wasn't looking!
Just a bit of fun, but it really helped restore me yesterday and so today I'm feeling much better. Do you have something creative that restores you?
P.S. I hope none of you are too impacted by the wild and stormy weather we're having in the west of the UK and Ireland today. Freda? Linda?
