Storm bound here with cancelled ferries and I have tied the Christmas tree to the porch. Hunker down is the only wise thing to do. Hygge!
It sounds more extreme for your end of the country Freda - I hope your Christmas plans weren't reliant on the ferry. At least the reindeer can fly! Stay warm and dry and enjoy the hygge - a good excuse for reading by the fire... And chocolate of course!
Daffodils in Dec? What a spark of color on a drab day. We're a little warmer than normal...no snow but I'm not complaining.
It does feel a bit like cheating to have daffodils in December, but they are very welcome. Have a lovely Christmas Cathy. - maybe Santa will bring you some snow! :-)
I wondered how that storm might impact you all. Nasty. But the daffodils are such a treat. Raining here, too, but not windy. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny so I hope the same will be true for you. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you too Mary. I think it's going to be pretty windy and wet here tomorrow, but it's a treat to be by the sea so I don't mind! Hope the sun shines for you, have a great day.
