A man I know of in America runs his business in a very unconventional way.
His employees can choose the hours that they work; have a day/week off whenever they like; if they need to take their child to the doctor/dentist etc unexpectedly then they can; if they're tired they can go home early; they can eat/chat/snooze as they desire...
Their only commitment is to do the job well. And they do. They are motivated, engaged and genuinely enthusiastic about their work. Because they have their needs met.
He has a VERY successful business!
It sounds to me like a truly sensible way to run a company. What do you think?
